The Road

Windows: Double-click TheRoad.exe

Linux: run ./theroad

Press W to accelerate, S to brake. A to turn left, D to turn right.

Press return to pause. Return or escape will unpaused, but escape won't pause.

Your progress is saved at every checkpoint. To go back to your checkpoint press R. This even works if you exit. Just press R before you arrive at your first checkpoint. This is a fun feature if you use it correctly. Generally, you can expect a rewind to be better if you crash, drive a bad line, or go out of bounds. My recommendation is to not use it for a while and then use it sparingly. Learn how to take the corner using the checkpoint systems.

Press Ctrl-M to mute, you can't unmute.

Press Ctrl-G to release the mouse, Ctrl-G to grab the mouse again.

Press M to freeze the mouse movement at its current place.

Press Ctrl-Delete to exit. I wanted it to be Ctrl-Alt-Delete but that was already taken. Alt-F4 also works.

If you want to, you can also run python.exe theroad.py from the command-line.
